The airy lace pattern draws all attention to the back of this light summer top. The front and sleeves are worked in simple yet attractive textured pattern.

The body and sleeves of this top are worked in the round from the bottom to the underarms, then pieces are joined for working the raglan shaping.

Women’s XS (S, M, L, XL, 2XL): to fit bust 28/30 (32/34, 36/38, 40/42, 44/46, 48/50)”/71/76 (81/86, 91/96, 102/107, 112/117, 122/127) cm.

 

Finished Measurements 
32.25 (36.25, 40.25, 44.25, 48.25, 52.25)”/ 82 (92, 102, 112, 122.5, 133) cm bust circumference. 
Intended ease: +2-4”/5-10 cm. 
Shown in size M (40.25”/102 cm) on 37”/94 cm bust with 3.25”/8 cm of positive ease.

Gauge 
24 sts and 32 rows = 4”/10 cm in Textured patt on size US 4 (3.5 mm) needle, after blocking. 
16-st repeat of Lace Chart A = 2.5”/6.5 cm on size US 4 (3.5 mm) needle, after blocking. 
12-st repeat of Lace Chart B = 2”/5 cm on size US 4 (3.5 mm) needle, after blocking.

For the sample I have used Baah Yarn Aspen (75% Merino, 15% Silk, 20% Cashmere; 330 yds (302 m) / 100g); Grey Onyx: 4 (4, 4, 5, 5, 6) skeins.

Tools 
Size US 4 (3.5 mm): 24-32” (60-80) cm circular (circ); size US 3 (3.25 mm): 16” (40 cm) circ. 
2 sets of double-pointed needles (dpns) of the same sizes. 
Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain gauge.

Materials 
Sport weight yarn (approximate amounts): 1023 (1155, 1254, 1386, 1518, 1783) yards /935 (1056, 1147, 1267, 1388, 1630) m.

Difficulty: Intermediate.

Pattern Style: both written and charted instructions using common knitting abbreviations. Lace pattern is charted only.
