For interesting cable knitting in a lightweight summer top, look no further than the Caspian Top. Part of the striking cable pattern on the front is worked in garter stitch, which complements the horizontal rib stripes on the sides and back of this loose-fitting T-shirt.

Quince & Co. Willet (100% cotton; 160 yds/146 m in 13/4 oz/50 g): #703 leeward, 6 (7, 7, 8, 9, 10) skeins.

Needles 
Sizes US 4/3.5 mm: 24-32”/60-80 cm circular and set of double-pointed. 
Size US 3/3.25 mm: 24-32”/60-80 cm circular (optional: spare needle of same size), 16”/40 cm circular and set of double-pointed. 
Adjust needle size if necessary, to obtain gauge.

Notions 
Stitch markers, stitch holders, cable needle, waste yarn, tapestry needle.

Gauge 
22 stitches and 32 rounds = 4”/10 cm in Garter Ridge pattern on larger needle, after blocking.
