4 MM | US 6 and 4.5 MM | US 7 circular needle 60 CM | 24 INCH long
Optional second 4 MM | US 6 circular needle 60 CM | 24 INCH for Provisional Cast On and Tubular Bind Off

Markers, tapestry needle, cable needle, crochet hook G/4 mm for Provisional Cast On, waste yarn.
Adjust needle size if necessary, to obtain gauge.

20 stitches and 28 rounds = 4”/10 cm in Stockinette Stitch on larger needle, after blocking.

The cowl is worked from the bottom up in the round.
The chart is worked in rows and in the round.
When work in the round, read all rows from right to left.
German Short-Rows are used for bottom front shaping. Knitters may use the preferable method of Short-Rows.
