Portico Top

The peekaboo cutouts and crisscross straps on the back of the Portico Tank flow into a deep ribbing that runs down the spine. The ribbing is replicated on the sides and around the neck, visually uniting the design for a clever and fun knit.

Needles 
Size US 4/3.5 mm: 24-32”/60-80 cm circular and set of double-pointed. 
Size US 3/3.25 mm: 24-32”/60-80 cm circular (optional: spare needle of same size). 
Adjust needle size if necessary, to obtain gauge.

Notions 
Stitch markers, waste yarn, stitch holders, tapestry needle.

Gauge 
22 stitches and 34 rounds = 4”/10 cm in Stockinette Stitch on size US 4/3.5 mm needle, after blocking. 
28 stitches and 34 rounds = 4”/10 cm in k1, p1 rib on size US 4/3.5 mm needle, after blocking.

Notes 

The body of this tank is worked in the round in one piece to the underarms, then the upper front and back are worked separately back and forth.
