These mittens feature a striking cable motif that runs along the back of the hand, worked in mirrored pairs so that each mitten has its own directional cable — creating a balanced, intentional look when worn. The cables are crisp and well-defined, framed by smooth stockinette and anchored by a comfortably elastic ribbed cuff for a secure yet flexible fit.

A distinctive element of this design is the anatomically correct shaping at the top of the mitten. Instead of using standard symmetrical decreases, the shaping follows the natural, uneven line of the fingertips—from the gentle slope near the little finger to the higher rise at the middle finger. This placement creates a top that mimics the natural contour of the hand, reducing excess fabric and enhancing overall comfort.
